beensock 1:1 Session Giveaway — Rules

  1. The prize: One 60-minute 1:1 Session with me, exactly the same as a paid session. One winner per round. It has no cash value and can't be swapped or passed to someone else. Book it within 30 days of winning.
  2. Each round is its own giveaway: A round opens when it's posted in #coaching-announcements and stays open until I close entries on this page. The round's post says when I plan to close it. Entries recorded on this page before I close count. There's no promise of another round.
  3. Free to enter: You never need to pay for anything to enter or to get any extra entry.
  4. Who can enter: Members of the beensock Discord. Current students are welcome.
  5. How to enter: Sign in with Discord on this page and press Enter. That's 1 entry. Being in the Discord doesn't enter you by itself; you enter each round.
  6. Extra entries (only the ones this round's page shows): +1 for following me on Twitch (checked when you sign in with Twitch). +1 for following me on Instagram and +1 for TikTok (you type your username on this page; I check the winner's). +1 for visiting my YouTube channel. +1 per stream when you redeem "Coaching Giveaway" with Channel Points on my Twitch, for the Twitch account you signed in with on this page, at most one per stream.
  7. The draw: Done off-stream after entries close, at random, with every entry counting as one ticket.
  8. Checks: Whoever is drawn has to be in the Discord when they entered and still be in it. Every follow they claimed has to be real. For Instagram or TikTok, the username they typed is the one I check, and they show that account is theirs in their ticket: a message from that account, or the account connected on their Discord profile. If any of that doesn't check out, they're not eligible and another winner is drawn.
  9. Winner: Announced in #coaching-announcements: I may name the winner there by their Discord name, or just say a winner has been drawn and message them. Open a scheduling ticket within 72 hours to claim, or another winner is drawn. You book it through the normal ticket like any session, and you won't be charged.
  10. Your info: This page keeps only what it needs to run the round: your Discord user ID and username and the day Discord says you joined the server; if you sign in with Twitch, your Twitch user ID and login and whether you follow me; and which entries you earned, and when; for the Instagram and TikTok entries, the username you typed; and, if you're drawn and passed over, that I marked you ineligible and when. If you redeem "Coaching Giveaway" with Channel Points, my stream sends this page your Twitch user ID and that redemption, even before you've signed in here, so it can count once you do. Nothing else: no email, and no password or sign-in token. Only I see it, and only to run and check the round (except that I may name the winner, as the Winner rule says). When the round is settled, all of it is deleted, the usernames you typed included, except the draw record (the random seed, the number of entries, a fingerprint of the list that was drawn — a code made from the list that no name or ID can be read back from — how many drawn people were passed over, and the winner's Discord ID), which is deleted after 30 days. A round that is closed but never settled is deleted in full after 30 days.
  11. Not sponsored by the platforms: This giveaway isn't sponsored, endorsed or run by Discord, Twitch, Instagram, Meta, TikTok or YouTube. YouTube is not a sponsor of this giveaway. By entering you release them from any responsibility for it.
  12. Changes: I can cancel or change a round if something goes wrong (cheating, a technical problem). Void where prohibited.
